Pentax is really giving value these days!
Its Pentax K-x model is a really cheap DSLR camera with plenty of bang for the buck.

- A great CMOS image sensor that is 12.4-megapixels and incorporates its own variation of Image Stabilization, which is called “Shake Reduction” by this maker.
- Video Capture at HD 720p – none of the other models at this price point offer video at all, let alone HD video.
- LCD is 2.7″ and features Live View, which compact digital photographers will be very comfortable with.
- Image Quality meets all others in its category, and surpasses the others when ISO is increased above 800.
- Burst rate of 4.7 frames per second permits for stop action images, again as good or better than its competitors.
- HDR in-camera processing – High Dynamic Range is really increasing in popularity with photographers. This camea (unlike any other in its class) will combine 3 shots of diverse light values into one photo with rather good results.
